Dogs
3 Hearts 4 Paws Animal Rescue was founded with love and passion and is dedicated not only to the lives of those we save, but to the so many lives that are lost. We are a NJ non profit organization, and recognized 501(c)3 tax exempt charitable organization, comprised of volunteers who give selflessly and open their hearts and their homes, as a stepping stone to the permanent home every rescue animal dreams of. We are not a shelter... each of our rescues are cared for in the warmth of their foster homes, as we help them on their journey waiting for the place they can call their own.
We are primarily a canine rescue, pulling dogs from high kill shelters across the U.S. Our goal is to save as many lives as we possibly can and to bring an awareness to those around us of the pain and suffering that occurs in puppy mills and the fate that awaits those discarded to shelters.

\"Pit Bull\" or \"Bully\" type
We are a non-profit, all volunteer group that saves the lives of dogs that are abused, abandoned, homeless, or left in local shelters. By getting them to a safe place where they can receive proper care and love, we can help them find their forever home. We advocate for and provide education to promote responsible ownership for ALL dogs. We particularly advocate on behalf of our passion, those that need our help the most, the \"Pit Bull\" type dogs.

Dogs
We specialize in pit bulls and bully-type dogs, but all are welcome!
Smiling Dog Rescue (SDR) began in January of 2007 when Rica was asked to help out a smiling pit bull set for euthanasia at a kill shelter in Southern Arizona. Being made aware of this one endangered and innocent life led to a greater awareness of a sad reality – the enormous number of pit bull and pit bull-type dogs who too often end their lives in high kill shelters – merely because of the way they look. Never looking back, SDR has since then rehabilitated and re-homed over 2400 unwanted, stray and abandoned pit bulls, bully type dogs, as well as many other types of dogs from all over southern Arizona.

Cats
WSKR is a small cat rescue in Tucson, Arizona which is run by a small group of volunteers scattered across the community. We are not operating out of a centralized shelter location, our foster volunteers open their homes to the kitties we rescue. This provides the kitties with as stable and home-like an environment as possible while they wait for their forever home to find them. We work closely with southern Arizona animal shelters to rescue cats and kittens who are at risk of suffering an unpleasant fate, we rehabilitate them and then work to help them find their forever homes.
