3 Hearts 4 Paws Animal Rescue
In-Home Foster Network
Established05/20/2013
3 Hearts 4 Paws Animal Rescue was founded with love and passion and is dedicated not only to the lives of those we save, but to the so many lives that are lost. We are a NJ non profit organization, and recognized 501(c)3 tax exempt charitable organization, comprised of volunteers who give selflessly and open their hearts and their homes, as a stepping stone to the permanent home every rescue animal dreams of. We are not a shelter... each of our rescues are cared for in the warmth of their foster homes, as we help them on their journey waiting for the place they can call their own.
We are primarily a canine rescue, pulling dogs from high kill shelters across the U.S. Our goal is to save as many lives as we possibly can and to bring an awareness to those around us of the pain and suffering that occurs in puppy mills and the fate that awaits those discarded to shelters.
3 Hearts 4 Paws Animal Rescue is a NJ non-profit Corporation organized and operated solely for charitable purposes. We are primarily a canine, all breed rescue founded in May, 2013 although the Organization actually started it's work in August, 2013. It is the mission, duty and purpose of 3 Hearts 4 Paws Animal Rescue to prevent cruelty to animals through rescue, adoption, rehabilitation and ultimately permanent placement of abused and neglected animals. We educate and address the issue of animal deaths due to shelter overcrowding, human abuse and neglect, and puppy mill and backyard breeding, by:
- Enforcing, educating and promoting the critical need to spay/neuter
- Advocating against animal cruelty
- Working with shelters and other rescues to identify dogs/puppies in need and at risk of euthanization
- Providing medical care
- Providing foster homes
Working in cooperation with shelters across the US as well as local rescues, we act quickly to remove animals from harmful or neglectful situations, and those at risk for euthanization. We arrange and pay for health certificates, transports to NJ, vetting prior to transport and all medical needs until the animals can be adopted. We have taken in many abused dogs and puppies, those from hoarder situations, owner surrenders, as well as dogs and puppies from shelters at risk of being euthanized, many times by inhumane practices still existing in other states. All rescues are placed in the care of our network of fosters who open their hearts and homes to them until they are placed in permanent homes through our Adoption process. We provide all medical care while in foster care.
