Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit, insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners.

Passion For Pets Rescue (PPR) is an all volunteer rescue. Our mission is to rescue abused, abandoned and homeless dogs & puppies. Most of these dogs/puppies come from high-kill shelters in the South. We also rescue local dogs. PPR spays, neuters and provides medical care. Once the dogs/puppies arrive in Maine, they are placed in caring foster homes until they are adopted into loving homes. PPR does not have a physical shelter. We rely on the kindness and generosity of animal lovers, who open their hearts and homes to help us take care of these animals that desperately need our help.

Animal types:

Dogs

Methods used in promoting adoptables:
  • Website
  • Adoptable Pets listing websites
  • Social Media
  • Adoption events
Adoption events:

We have adoption events at Petlife, Tractor Supply and Ames

Additional Notes:

We are always in need of fosters who are willing to work with dogs and puppies and are open to communicating with potential adopters
